First known body ornamentations were body painting. With time the techniques of body painting, later tattooing, changed and evolved. The demand for tattooing has been there since many years but not everyone one wants the design to stay on his/her body till the rest of his/her life. People have been searching for an alternative to permanent tattoo, something that would allow the drawing on the body to disappear after a few years without leaving any marks.

Biological tattoo (biotattoo, bio tattoo), introduced a few years back, has become a hit. Biotattoo is made in a way very similar to permanent tattoo but its asset is the fact that it will start disappearing after a few years. Bio-tattoo can be done on any part of the body, it can be done in colour, however, large designs and shading cannot be done. Bio- tattoo will stay on our skin for a few years, after which time it will start to disappear. You can either correct the design or leave it to disappear fully. The disappearing biotattoo doesn’t leave any scars.

	infection of the upper airways,
	diabetes,
	psoriasis,
	when using steroid medicine.

	it is recommended to wash the place which has been tattooed with only water, without the use of substances which can cause irritations,
	it is recommended to cream the tattooed place with cosmetic Vaseline or alantan ointment to keep the tattoo moisturized,
	the use of swimming pools, saunas and solariums is not recommended for about 2 weeks after the procedure of biotattoo.
